Frequently asked questions:

Q: Can I come and look at the items for hire?

A: Yes you are more than welcome to come in we are at 107 Coonawarra Road Winnellie. Our trading hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Saturday- 8.30am to 12.pm. If you would like to arrange a meeting please contact the office on 08 8947 2198 or email- tph@territoryevetnshire.com.au.

 

Q: What is your booking procedure?

A: You can make a booking with us through email; phone or you can come into the office. Once you have put a list of what you will need together we can then provide a quote. If you would like to accept the quote you will need to sign the quote and send back to us via email, fax or you can come in to the office. Credit card details are taken to use as security as per our terms and conditions- please note that when paying with credit card there is a 2% surcharge.

 

Q: Do you have eftpos?

A: Unfortunately we do not have eftpos available. However you can pay direct credit banking- details are located on our quotes and invoices & or cash/cheque-& or credit card- Visa/Mastercard please note a 2% surcharge occurs for all cc payments. All payments must be made 7 days before booking date.

 

Q: What is your cancelation policy?

A: In the event of cancellation by the hirer of more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours’ notice- 20% of the total hire is payable. Cancellation on the date of delivery/install- total hire charges will apply.

 

Q: When can we expect delivery and pickup of our hired goods?

A: Once you have confirmed and locked in the booking this will be discussed with you prior to your event date.

Q: How much does it cost to deliver?

A: Our delivery costs vary throughout the Darwin and rural area. This will be discussed with you during the quote stage.

 

 

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?

A: A 20% deposit will be required for large events and weddings with final payment received 7 days before booking date.

 

Q: Why is a credit card number required by Territory Party Hire?

A: We take your credit card number as security on our goods. By signing our terms and conditions you have approved us debiting this card if items are damaged, unclean or not returned. Under no circumstances will it be debited for any other reason and the number will not be supplied to anyone else.

 

Q: Do I need to clean linen, glass ware, crockery and cutlery when returning?

A: Linen- No, the washing of the linen is already included in the hire price. However if the linen comes back extremely dirty or mouldy there will be an extra cleaning cost.

Glass ware, crockery & cutlery- You are required to rinse the goods, if you are having an event where there is no running water we suggest a tub and bottled/carton water to rinse the goods.

 

Q: What if I cannot get my equipment up and running or I run into an issue with the equipment?

A: If you have any questions at all regarding the use of our equipment, please don’t hesitate to call our office on 08 8947 2198 or our afterhours mobile. You can find the after hour’s mobile number on the office answering machine message.
